Presidential Fund for Equity in the Marist Experience

At Marist, some of the most meaningful moments happen beyond the classroom; saying yes to a study abroad program, stepping into an internship, conducting research, or taking part in a hands-on learning experience. These opportunities shape confidence, open doors, and often change the trajectory of a student’s future.

For many students, the only thing standing between them and these experiences is access.

The Presidential Fund for Equity in the Marist Experience was created to help bridge that gap — ensuring that more students can fully participate in the moments that define their time at Marist, regardless of financial need.

Because of the generosity of the Marist community, this fund has already supported more than 300 students since its founding gift. Each of those students represents a story — a door opened, a path made possible, a future expanded.

And there is still more to do.

The Equity Fund directly advances all three pillars of Marist 100: academic vibrancy, student centrality, and expansive community. By providing life-changing experiential learning opportunities and reinforcing Marist’s commitment to equitable access and global engagement.
