The School of Communication and the Arts at Marist University is a vibrant home for makers, storytellers, designers, performers, scholars, and strategists—people who believe creativity and communication can shape culture and strengthen communities.
We blend rigorous study with hands-on experience. Learning happens through doing—on stages and sets, in studios and labs, through publications and productions, in classrooms designed for experimentation, and in partnerships that connect Marist to the wider world.
The Center for Sports Communication and The Center for Social Media, in addition to the student-run integrated marketing communications firm North Road Communications and MPorium, a boutique run by our fashion merchandising students, provide real world opportunities for Marist students to build skills they will employ after graduation.
Our school is a launchpad and a lighthouse: a place where students discover who they are, develop what they can do, and imagine what they can become. Investment in the SCA by our alumni on Day of Giving ensures that the next generation of Communication, Arts and Fashion students will have the resources and facilities in which to learn and thrive; to ensure that together, we make—and we matter.
